A veteran of World War I, he was also a member of the North Baptist Church, Port Chester. Besides his daughter, he leaves his wife, Maude Hallenbeck Tilley of the home address, another daughter, Mrs. Theodore J. Waeber of Port Chester, two brothers, Milton P. of New Canaan and Herbert C., Jr., of White Plains, formerly of Rye, a sister Mrs. William C. Phillips of Alexandria, PA and five grandchildren.¹
