Dwight Flint, an Easton barber, died at 6:30 o'clock on Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles E. West, No. 925 Lehigh street. She was in her 73rd year and had been ill for three years from infirmities incident to old age.

    Besides her daughter, with whom she resided, she is survived by a brother, Frederick Lehmann, of this city, a half sister, Miss Eva C. Strauss, of this city, and a half brother, Edward Strauss, of Brooklyn. She was a member of the First Reformed church.2

  • Baptism: John was baptized on 22 June 1864 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 330 Ferry Street, Easton, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. With Louisa Shannon as sponsor.1
  • Census*: John appeared on the census of 17 August 1870 at Williams Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, as possibly the 7 year old John H living in the household of Thomas Moser, age 61, Stone Mason. The other members of the household are Catharine, age 63, keeping house, and Andrew, age 25.2
  • Death*: John died on 26 June 1944, Easton, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, at age 81.3
  • Obituary*: Easton Express 27 June 1944 Obituary: John Harrison Moser, 81, who resided with his daughter, Mrs. Wallace Grube, Easton RD 4, died at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon at Easton Hospital where he was admitted last Friday. He was a retired farmer. His wife, Mary Jane Moser, died on April 8, 1910. Besides his daughter Mrs. Grube, he is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. John Kinnaman, of Easton, and Mrs. Clarence Hoover, of Bougher Hill, and a son, William Moser, of Upper Black Eddy; 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held from the Heck Memorial Home, Thirteenth and Bushkill street, on Friday at 2 p.m. Interment will be made in Durham Cemetery.3
  • Burial*: John was buried in on 30 June 1944, Durham Cemetery, Durham, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.3
  • Note*: I haven't tried to find and enter the children of John Harrison. In the 1930 census, John's son William H is renting in Durham Twp, Buscks County, PA, age 39, married at 19, with Sadie R.V., wife, age 42, and 5 children, Sadie R.V., William S., Helen I., Milton C., and Inex B. The children range from under a year to age 18. A granddaughter Elizabeth M. Kunsman, age 8 months, also lives with them. They live next to Susan Druckenmiller, age 68, Widowed,Owner; and Herman Shearer, age 62 and family.
