A resident of Port Chester 48 years, he was employed at the Russell, Birdsall and Ward Bolt and Nut Co., Port Chester, in the purchasing department. A veteran of World War I, he was also a member of the North Baptist Church, Port Chester. Besides his daughter, he leaves his wife, Maude Hallenbeck Tilley of the home address, another daughter, Mrs. Theodore J. Waeber of Port Chester, two brothers, Milton P. of New Canaan and Herbert C., Jr., of White Plains, formerly of Rye, a sister Mrs. William C. Phillips of Alexandria, PA and five grandchildren.1
