Tilley. He was eighty-six years old. Born in Hudson, N.Y., the son of the late Jonas and Clara Hallenbeck, he came to Port Chester 65 years ago and during most of the time was employed by the Ernest Simons Mfg. Co. of Port Chester. He was head of the shipping department when he retired some years ago. His wife was the late Cora Lockwood of Port Chester. Mr. Hallenbeck was a member of the North Baptist Church, a well known fraternalist, and a former member of the Reliance Engine and Hose Company. He had been a member of Royal Arcanum Council 798 for 56 years and held the office of collector for 48 years. He also was a member of Port Chester Lodge 33, Knights of Pythias for 58 years. Surviving besides Mrs. Tilley are a sister, Mrs. Minnie Engle of Bellona, N.Y., a brother Charles Hallenbeck of Schenectady; two granddaughters, Mrs. Robert T. Wheeler of Old Greenwich and Mrs. Theodore J. Waeber of Port Chester, and four great-grandchildren."
